Here are the results of our recent election to approve amendments to our CCRs and Bylaws.
We had a 65% voter response which equals 93 returned ballots. We are most grateful to those who took the time to study the proposed changes and vote. Last year we amended our voting requirements. In order for an amendment to PASS, it must receive 67% of the votes cast.
The Arizona Supreme Court handed down a decision with possible consequences for HOAs right before our vote. The Board met with our attorney who advised us that our amendments are not impacted by this decision. She recommends that we file the changes in Pima County and we proceed to be governed by these Second Amended and Restated Declaration of Establishment of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions for Canoa Hills Townhomes and the Amended and Restated Bylaws of Canoa Hills Townhomes, Inc. Again we thank you for your participation in this important step forward for Canoa Hills Townhomes.
