Letter from the President, Galen Schroeder

I apologize for sending so many letters recently, but in these turbulent COVID time we find ourselves in, I hope you will bear with me and not get burned out by too many letters.

If you have followed recent GV News articles you have read about the possible closure of the Santa Cruz Regional Hospital as the result of the COVID-19 crisis. You can see the latest article at:

Whether or not you have yet to use the hospital or its emergency room services, I am certain you would agree that the loss of our local hospital would be a devastating loss to the Green Valley area. The hospital has requested emergency funding from the State of Arizona but at this point has not been given any assurance of State or federal assistance. Some of your neighbors have contacted Governor Ducey and our US Congressional delegation to voice support for immediate financial assistance.
